From 1st March 2025 to 31st December 2025, Viet Nam will waive visas for tourists from Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland according to Resolution 11/NQ-CP and the framework of the Tourism Development Stimulus Programme in 2025.

The recently-issued resolution states that citizens of these countries will be exempted from visas for a temporary stay period of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type and purpose of entry, on the basis of fully meeting the entry conditions as prescribed by Viet Nam’s laws.
This new policy shall be applied to tours organized by international travel service providers in Viet Nam until December 31, 2025.
Conditions for Visa Exemption:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months following your date of arrival in Vietnam
- Your passport has at least 02 blank pages
- You have round-trip ticket to Vietnam
- You have the tour programme for the whole trip by the Vietnamese travelling company
Currently, Viet Nam also unilaterally exempts visas for citizens from 13 countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus, with a duration of stay of up to 45 days from the date of entry.
