Soc BomBo is located on Binh Minh commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province, from Dong Xoai town, go straight to Highway 14 towards Bu Dang about 50 km. Soc BomBo was formed from the period of resistance against the US, heroic guerrilla fighters of the past as Dieu Lien and Dieu Sen now are the elderly generation of the village but still living in Soc. Most of us are aware of Soc BomBo via the song “The Sound of rice pounder on Soc BomBo” of famous musician Xuan Hong, images of Xe Tieng ethnic people pounding rice to support military against enemy troops went into poetry and history.

Today, through wars and time, Soc BomBo has undergone many changes, but it retains the unique features in the lives of S’tieng ethnic people, where the light still flickers night by night and the similar sound of rice pounders.
How To Get Soc Bombo?
From Ho Chi Minh City, there are two ways to Soc BomBo: by motorbike or by bus. If you want to go by bus, you can go to Eastern bus station to buy tickets, priced from vnd 150,000 to 200,000/ one way, depending on the quality of the car.
If traveling by motorcycle, there are two paths: one through Binh Trieu Bridge, along Highway 13 or through Saigon bridge, along Hanoi Highway. Travel time is approximately 2 hours.
